on demand

Summary

As much of the world abruptly transitioned to working from home in 2020, hackers took advantage of new opportunities for attacks. Most of the biggest cyberattacks of the year used well-known techniques, such as phishing and ransomware, while some employed novel sophistication, like the SolarWinds hack.

In this webinar, cybersecurity expert Neil Daswani, co-director of the Stanford Advanced Cybersecurity program, will discuss the impacts and root causes of recent major cyberattacks. He will also outline a path forward for organizations to protect themselves and their customers from increasingly sophisticated and pervasive cyberthreats.

You Will Learn:
  • The root causes of most cyber breaches—phishing, malware, software vulnerabilities, third-party compromise and abuse, unencrypted data, and human error
  • How to identify and prepare for looming threats on the cyber landscape
  • Preventive and detection-oriented countermeasures to defend your organization against nation-state attackers and foreign adversaries
