Breaking and Entering: How to Get a Cybersecurity Job

On-Demand Webinar

Summary

Cybersecurity is one of today’s fastest-growing fields, with more than 500,000 open positions in the U.S, and millions more worldwide. To protect themselves, organizations need to fill these jobs with more than just ‘hackers’. They need people with a multitude of skill sets, including analysts, project managers, people managers, risk managers, engineers, architects, officers, and executives.
This webinar with Neil Daswani, co-author of the book Foundations of Security: What Every Programmer Needs To Know and co-director of the Stanford Advanced Cybersecurity Program, will help you “break into” the cybersecurity field, regardless of your current profession. Neil will show you how companies structure security initiatives and teams, and which skills and knowledge are required for security-related roles.

You Will Learn:
  • Identify cybersecurity positions that match your experience
  • Build the skills required to perform successfully in these roles
  • Leverage your current abilities to get a job in the cybersecurity industry
