Innovation and entrepreneurship education is one of the core pillars of Stanford University education. It’s a driving force that has propelled the Silicon Valley into the global innovation hub today. In collaboration with Outstanding International Education Investment Co. Ltd., we are excited to extend the expertise of Stanford innovation and entrepreneurship education to faculty members and entrepreneurial mentors in China, using its custom-designed learning platform MOSO, to support developing innovation talent and strengthening regional innovation ecosystems across China.

Program Content:

The program offers two self-paced, online courses designed to provide faculty members in China with content, pedagogies, and teaching tools to teach courses on innovation and entrepreneurship effectively.

Stanford Innovation Mentor Development Course

Program Participants:

  • Faculty members from higher education institutions who teach innovation and entrepreneurship courses
  • Faculty members from higher education institutions who are interested in integrating design thinking and innovative pedagogies with their teaching in a wide verity of disciplines
  • Entrepreneurs and practitioners who would like to become entrepreneurial mentors for students
  • Leaders and administrators who develop the hub for innovation and entrepreneurship at their respective universities.

Program Highlights:

  • This is the first time a systematic curriculum on innovation and entrepreneurship education from Stanford University will be introduced to China and fully available in the Chinese language
  • The courses are taught by world-class faculty members, entrepreneurs, and venture capitalists who provide action-driven guidance
  • The course provides a key area of solutions to develop a strong faculty base for teaching I&E
  • The user-friendly platform allows a flexible learning pace for busy faculty members and mentors and offers just-in-time reference ability to support teaching and mentoring
  • Upon successful completion of the course work, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion issued by Stanford Center for Professional Development
