Graduate Orientation

Join us on the Stanford campus for this live orientation, which will cover your responsibilities as a student and review the logistics of completing Stanford coursework at a distance. All new students are encouraged to attend.

We are also happy to announce that former Vice Provost for Teaching and Learning, John Mitchell, will be joining us for the event.

Agenda
  • 6:00 - 7:00 pm: Presentation and Panel Discussion - Skilling Auditorium
    • Learn valuable information on resources and expectations to ensure your smooth start. A discussion panel, including faculty, a teaching assistant, former students, will offer their advice and afterwards will answer questions from the audience.
  • 7:00 - 8:00 pm: Reception - 408 Panama Mall
    • Meet SCPD staff members, Stanford faculty, and fellow classmates. Food and drink will be provided.
